Your Health

Sawdust is the enemy. We provide an indoor, climate-controlled space and we take dust collection very seriously. The first training all members receive is training on how to properly use the dust collection systems around the shop. Our shop features HEPA air scrubbers, 3ph dust collection machine, and numerous vacuums ported to our equipment. Members are encouraged to purchase and wear our shop PPE, including safety glasses and fine particulate respirator. The air quality in the shop is monitored 24/7 for fine particulate, co2, and volatile organic compounds.

Shop Rules

Loose and baggy clothing is not permitted in the shop when power tools are in use. Neck strings on hooded sweatshirts should be removed or tucked in. Loose jewelry should not be worn in the shop when tools are in use. Long hair should be contained above the shoulder line when tools are in use. Children under 10 are not permitted in the shop when power tools are in use. Those under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted in the shop. Members are expected to clean up after themselves- including emptying vacuums, cleaning vacuum filters, disposing of scraps and debris, and returning tools to their correct locations.
